Main Responsibilities: Management of time and materials for profitability; Supervision and management of new install projects from start to finish; Training helpers and Apprentices; Communication with Field Superintendent; Installation, trim out, and startup of new systems and change outs.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Verify materials lists and notify Field Superintendent of changes
  • Pick up supplies from shop in the morning on the first day of the job
  • Be on time to jobsite (7:30 a.m.), meet with GC as necessary
  • Install AHU, ductwork, line set, T-Stat wire, condensate drain, bathroom exhaust, dryer vent, and kitchen exhaust to specs provided and within code
  • Complete Rough In Checklist and make notes for trim-out materials needed
  • Fill out the sticker on the electrical panel
  • Turn in paperwork to Field Superintendent at the end of Rough In
  • Give completed status to Field Superintendent for inspection scheduling
  • Stay on schedule
  • Supervise apprentices/ helpers and keep them busy at all times
  • Maintain jobsite safety practices and standards
  • Remove waste for recycling and leave jobsite clean at the end of the day
  • Manage time and materials Complete paperwork for customer warranty information
  • Complete Work Orders daily and Purchase Orders as necessary
