The Delivery Driver will be responsible for performing a variety of routine transportation work and adequate delivery of materials to construction sites and manufacturer’s locations.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Delivering supplies needed to specified job sites in a timely manner

·         Loading and unloading supplies needed for each specific job

·         Make deliveries in a pleasant, timely manner according to company and department standards

·         Manage calendar with delivery schedule, and communicate with project managers as well as facilities manager on when deliveries are needed

·         Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse by putting away supplies in proper places

·         Be punctual and always conduct yourself in a professional business manner

·         Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

·         Wear company uniform as outlined by management

Qualifications and Skills:

·         High School diploma or equivalent

·         Valid Virginia driver’s license and clean driving background; keep up-t-date with HR

·         Ability to pass drug screen and background check

·         Driving knowledge of Richmond and surrounding areas as well as Northern Virginia

·         Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

·         Ability to read, write, speak and understand English; Spanish is a plus

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

·         Ability to work in a team environment

·         Ability to use significant independent judgment

·         Excellent time management skills
